Every dimension is scored and critiqued using frameworks from Y Combinator, The Lean Startup, Zero to One, and Porter's Five Forces.

Typically 30–90 seconds. The AI generates a full structured analysis in one pass. If it takes longer than 3 minutes, the page will show an error — just retry.

Yes — that's the product. Most startup tools validate your idea to make you feel good. VentureScan does the opposite: it stress-tests your assumptions using the same frameworks that VCs and accelerators use to reject 99% of pitches. A tough score isn't a rejection — it's a map of exactly what to fix before you invest real money.

It's a composite estimate based on your resource match, market saturation, domain expertise, structural fragility score, and overall verdict. It's NOT a prediction — it's a relative benchmark to help you compare ideas and understand how many things need to go right. Think of it as a risk-adjusted starting position, not a forecast.

Not necessarily. A low score means there are specific structural weaknesses — the analysis tells you exactly what they are. Most successful startups started with terrible-looking ideas on paper. Use the score to prioritize what to fix, not as a go/no-go decision. The Validation Plan section gives you the exact next experiment to run.

Yes. Every completed analysis has a unique shareable link (look for the Share button on the results page). The link is public — anyone with it can view the analysis without logging in. You can also export it as a PDF.

VentureScan uses one-time credit purchases. There is no monthly subscription to cancel. Manage purchases and credits from Billing.

Your ideas are stored privately in your account and are only visible to you. They are processed by Anthropic's AI API to generate the analysis — we do not use them to train models. You can permanently delete any analysis from your dashboard at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

VentureScan automatically detects the language of your idea and responds in the same language. Spanish, Portuguese, French, and English are well-supported. Other languages may work but with variable quality.

If the page shows 'Analyzing...' for more than 3 minutes, navigate back to your dashboard. The analysis either completed (check your projects list) or failed. If it failed, just run it again — it's free to retry.
